MOVIE DOCUMENTARY | “Uplifting Down” Down Syndrome Awareness in Nigeria

Published on Nov 21, 2015

In October 2015, we traveled to Nigeria to participate in the Down Syndrome Foundation Nigeria’s “Down Syndrome Awareness Week.”
With the goal of creating a documentary film in mind, the crew set out to learn as much as possible about how Down syndrome and disability awareness is viewed throughout our host country during our two-week stay.
In this trailer, we offer a first glimpse into the lives of some of the numerous people we met along the way.
Please watch and share, and stay tuned for future updates as we get closer to releasing this important film.
